Above are the ingredients I used to make my chai tea latte. The amount I made was just enough to fit into a 32 oz mason jar. This recipe was extremely easy and took no more than 2 minutes, 10 of which were spent just steeping the spices. I highly recommend this amazing recipe, it was so good! I started with a pot filled with 3 cups of water. Then I added…
5 whole black peppercorn
1 Ceylon cinnamon stick
1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and chopped
6 whole cloves
Once in the pot, I let the water and spices boil.
Then I let the mixture steep for 10 minutes.
After it had steeped, I brought it back to a boil and added the tea bags.
Once steeped for another 5 minutes, I strained the tea and threw out the leftover solids.
I added 1 cup of soy milk.
And 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
This tea was incredible. Go try it!!
